Creating a package#
- Go to Party Types and click "Add Party Type".
- Work through the cards below.
- Click "Create Party Type".
"Basic Info"#
| Field | What it does |

| "Name" | What customers see — "Birthday Bash", "Corporate Half-Day". |
| "Price per Player ($)" | Per-head price. Multiplied by the number of guests. |
| "Deposit Amount ($)" | "Flat deposit collected at booking time" — one flat figure for the whole party, not per player. The rest is due on game day. |
| "Description" | Sell it. What's included, how long, what to bring. |
| "Card Photo (optional)" | "Shown on this party's card on the public booking page" |
"Configuration"#
| Field | What it does |

| "Min Players" | The smallest party you'll accept. Customers can't book below it. |
| "Max Players" | The largest. |
| "Duration (hours)" | How long the session runs. Drives the time slots customers see and how long the play area is held. |
| "Sort Order" | Lower numbers appear first on the booking page. |
| "Active" | Turn a package off without deleting it. |
| "Collect Guest List" | "Ask the organizer to enter each guest's name and email during booking so waivers can go out ahead of game day." On by default. |
| "Activity" | "This party only shows in the selected activity's booking flow, with that activity's gear." |
Validation: "Minimum players cannot exceed maximum players."
"Booking Window"#
"Control how far in advance customers can book this party type. Leave blank for no restriction."

| "Minimum advance booking (days)" | "Earliest a customer can book (e.g., 7 = must book at least a week out)" |
| "Maximum advance booking (days)" | "Latest a customer can book (e.g., 90 = no bookings more than 3 months out)" |
A minimum of 7 gives you a week to prep, order cake, and schedule referees. A maximum of 90 stops someone booking a party 18 months out and forgetting about it.
Validation: "Minimum advance days must be less than maximum advance days."
"Allowed Days of Week"#
"Restrict which days of the week this party type can be booked. Leave all unselected to allow any day the field is open."
Seven toggle buttons. Days your field is closed are shown disabled with the sub-label "Closed".
Use this for weekend-only packages, or a weekday corporate rate.
Validation: "Your field is closed on: {Days}. Remove those days or update your operating hours."
"Allowed Gear Tiers"#
"Limit which gear tiers customers can choose at checkout. Leave all unselected to allow all active gear tiers."
Leave it empty for most packages. Use it when a package is built around specific gear — a kids' party restricted to low-impact tiers, say.
If you have no active gear tiers yet you'll see a link: "No active gear tiers configured yet. Add gear tiers first."
"Allowed Play Areas"#
"Restrict which fields this party type can be booked on. Leave all unchecked to allow any field."
Only appears if you've set up play areas, grouped by play area group. Use it when a package only makes sense on certain fields — an indoor-only winter package, for example.
"Combo Party"#
Chains two activities in one booking. It has its own page: Combo parties.
Each package gets its own link#
Every package has a direct URL you can share, of the shape:
/book/<your-booking-url>/party/<package-name>/datetime/
Send it straight to a customer, put it behind a "Book a birthday party" button on your website, or use it in an ad. It drops them into that package's flow with the package already chosen.
What customers go through#
- Pick the package
- Date and time
- Play area (only if you have active play areas)
- Gear
- Guest list (if "Collect Guest List" is on)
- Extras
- Contact details and payment
They pay the flat "Deposit Amount ($)"; the balance is due on game day. See What customers see.
Editing and deleting#
Prices and settings can be changed any time. Existing bookings keep what they were quoted.
Deleting is refused once a package has bookings:
Cannot delete "{name}" — it has existing bookings. Deactivate it instead.
Untick "Active" instead.
