Who can do this: Owners only. (Managers can see the team list but can't invite, change roles, or remove anyone.) Where: Sidebar → Business → Settings → "Team"
Inviting someone#
- Open Settings and expand the "Team" card.
- Click "Invite" in the top-right of the card.
- Fill in "First Name", "Last Name", "Email", and pick a "Role" — "Manager" or "Staff".
- Click "Send Invite".
You'll see a green "Invitation sent." banner, and they'll get an email with the subject "You've been added to {your field} on PBHQ" containing a link to set their own password.
If the email is already on your team you'll see "This person is already on your team."
Changing someone's role#
Each team member's row has a dropdown showing "Manager" or "Staff". Pick the other one and it saves immediately — no separate save button.
The Owner's row shows a static "Owner" pill instead. Owners can't change their own role from here.
Removing someone#
- Click the person-with-a-minus icon on their row (tooltip: "Remove from field").
- A modal appears — "Remove Team Member": "Remove {name} from this field? They will lose access immediately."
- Click "Remove".
Access is cut off immediately. Their historical activity stays intact — bookings they created and check-ins they recorded still show their name.
You can't remove yourself; there's no remove icon on your own row.
Which role should I give someone?#
Manager — assistant managers, shift leads, anyone who books groups and manages your catalog. They can do everything with bookings, players, gear, packages, events, and special hours, and they can record payments. They can't touch settings, reports, waiver configuration, or the team list.
Staff — referees and front-desk help working game day. They get the dashboard, the bookings list, and check-in. They can't see the Players directory, your catalog, or any money figures.
