Dashboard home

Your daily overview — what's booked, who's expected, who's checked in, and what needs attention.

Who can see it: everyone on your team. Owners additionally see revenue. Where: Sidebar → Operations → Dashboard

Choosing what you're looking at#

The heading changes with your selection: "Today's overview", "Weekend overview", "This week", or "Overview", with the date underneath.

  • Three preset buttons: "Today", "Weekend", "Week".
  • Two date boxes for any custom range.

Everything below updates to match.

Attention cards#

These appear above the numbers when they apply.

"{N} bookings awaiting payment"#

"Checkout never completed. Call the customer to take payment, or cancel to release the gear."

Lists up to five bookings, each linking straight to its edit page, with "(past)" markers on ones whose date has already gone. A "Review them →" button opens the full filtered list.

These bookings are still holding gear. Deal with them: take payment, or cancel to free the inventory. See Taking payment.

"Special Hours Today"#

Shows any special hours in your selected range — each area, Open or Closed, the window, and the reason — with a "Manage →" link.

The numbers#

Four tiles (three if you're not the Owner):

Tile What it tells you
"Bookings" How many bookings, and "{N} players expected". Your staffing number.
"Checked in" "{checked in} / {total}" with a progress bar. Watch it climb through the morning.
"By party type" Rows for "Walk-ons" and each party package. Shows the shape of your day.
"Revenue" Owner only.

"Expand a booking to check players in"

Your operating schedule, in time order: Time, Party, Gear / Field, Plyrs, Status.

Click the chevron on any row (tooltip: "Check in players") to expand its roster in place — that's where you check people in without leaving the page. See Checking players in.

The right-hand column#

"Field availability" — on a single-day view, a dot per play area with a note like "Open all day", "Next 3:00 PM", or "{party} · now". A quick read on what's free for a walk-up.

"Gear tier breakdown" — "{N} players · prep accordingly". How many of each tier to have ready before the doors open.

"Events today" — any events running, linking to their detail pages.

A morning routine that works#

  1. Open the dashboard on "Today".
  2. Check the attention cards. Anything awaiting payment gets a phone call.
  3. Read "{N} players expected" and the "Gear tier breakdown" — pull that gear now.
  4. Skim "Run of day" for the shape of the day and any large groups.
  5. Leave it open. Expand each booking as its group arrives and check them in.
  6. At close, glance at "Checked in" — a big gap between expected and checked in means no-shows to mark.
